Catching them fresh before their UK
tour, N I G H T L I F E will be gracing us with some punchy tracks on the We
Are Wild stage tonight. Expect heavyweight riffs, clean-cut vocals and a sound
that is slightly nostalgic of noughties’s alt rock. Taking inspiration from old
Foo Fighters and Diamond, their songs are as memorable as great movies and have
enough welly to become punk rock anthems.
This London band was formed in 2012 from
the remains of the broken pop punk thrashers, All Or Nothing. After various
disagreements with their label, N I G H T L I F E was born whilst also plucking
members from Chaos Days and The Fight. Still keeping their signature pop punk
theme, N I G H T L I F E has evolved their sound, creating something with a bit
more edge than their previous conquests. Lead singer Paul Foster completes the
package with a voice that isn’t too dissimilar from Enter Shikari’s Roughton
Reynolds. We think it would be wise to catch them now before they end up
supporting bands like You Me At Six.
